Ranjani is a native of Melarcode, Palakkad. She started learning music from the age of 9 under Smt. Radha teacher for one year and then under Smt. Vanaja teacher after that. She is currently doing her final year B Sc in Visual Communication from Nehru College, Coimbatore.

Ranjani has received traditional training in Sampradaya Bhajans and had performed in various stages across Palakkad, also a number of stages across Kerala and Tamil Nadu including Tirupati Tirumala Devasthanam, Grand Carnival Bhajan Chennai, Yuva Bhajan Mela Nurani and All India Radio.

Ranjani is also a trained dancer in Bhratha Natyam under Guru Lakshhi Karthik and Guru Ramya Sivaramakrishnan and has performed in various stages including Guruvayur temple.

Ranju (as her near and dear ones call her) is also mentored by Sri Sreenivasan Gopalakrishnan (Sreedhar) as a part of the Guruvaibhavam series organized by Maithree, Nurani and have been a part of the musical choir since its beginning (2019).
