Residing in Koduthirapully Village, Palakkad, Rasikapriya is from a musically inclined family. Her father Sri Venkiteshwaran is a famous Mridangist in Palakkad. She started learning classical music from Sri Premdeep and Sri Anilkumar. Currently pursing her Graduation in Commerce from Yuvakshetra college Palakkad, she is still passionate about and hardworking for her career in music and dance. 

Rasikapriya has participated and won prizes for music and dance events for group and solo items in School and College Art Festivals.

Rasika (as her near and dear ones call her) is also mentored by Sri  Sreenivasan gopalakrishnan (sreedhar) as a part of Guruvaibhavam series organized by Maithree, Nurani and have been part of the musical choir since its beginning (2019) . 

Rasikapriya also a dancer trained under Gurus  Smt Ramya Sivaraman and Gopika. She has performed in various stages across Kerala over the years.
